Gåshaga Marina acquired by Port Adhoc

Gåshaga Marina, near Stockholm in Sweden, has been acquired by European marina operator Port Adhoc.
Founded in 2002 the Swedish marina is situated on the eastern tip of the island of Lidingö – a residential Swedish island of around 50,000 inhabitants – and provides moorings, maintenance and winter storage services. It is managed by Jonas Fundin and Fanny Berg alongside a team of technicians.
With 300 moorings and storage space for 180 boats, the facilities are designed to accommodate all types of monohulls. There is a Roodberg trailer on site which can handle vessels weighing up to 40 tonnes, or approximately 70 foot.
There are also outdoor areas and indoor heated and unheated sheds, together with a maintenance marine workshop, restaurant and seasonal cafe.
Founded in 2004, Port Adhoc develops and operates marinas. The Group currently owns and operates 16 sites in France, the Netherlands ad Sweden totalling 12,720 berths, including Bayonne Anglet, Paimpol, Deko Marina Lelystad, and Jachthaven Naarden. The group also offers six marinas and dry stack marinas in France, eight marinas in the Netherlands and two ashore and afloat marinas in Sweden, including Svinninge Marina.
In 2005, Port Adhoc opened the Port of Paimpol, its first dry port, in Brittany, in the Côtes d’Armor. Today, Paimpol has nearly 250 dry dock spaces on racks and on cradles.
Port Adhoc expanded its portfolio of assets in 2013 with the acquisition of its first marina: Port Médoc. This was followed by the acquisition in 2016 of Port Napoléon.
The company states its ambition is ‘to consolidate a network of marinas offering mobility and privileged access to all of Europe’s most beautiful sailing basins’.
This latest acquisition of the Swedish marina follows the group’s acquisition of Svinninge Marina, expanding its European network.
